Raheem Morris has a ‘very high confidence level’ in Nick Bosa’s availability

(Photo by Brooke Sutton/Getty Images) | Getty Images </figcaption></figure><p class="wp-block-paragraph">If there were any doubts about Nick Bosa suiting up in Australia for the San Francisco 49ers, defensive coordinator Raheem Morris put those to rest in his most recent press conference.</p><p class="wp-block-paragraph">When asked about his confidence level about Bosa playing this week, Morris said:</p><p class="wp-block-paragraph">“Nick Bosa is really easy. You watch this guy do it over a span, a long time in his career, been able to do it at different levels. A different question than what we just talked about with Romello where we haven’t seen him do it yet. Bosa knows his body as well as anybody. He’ll be prepared and ready to go as well as anybody, whether it’s from a conversation in point, from meetings, from a conversation in point, from what he needs to get ready for his body. Very high confidence level in where he’s going to be.”</p><p class="wp-block-paragraph">Morris told the media, “Oh, he’s going out there. Whatever you want to say, he’s going. He’ll be there. We’re not hiding that.”<br>We’re a week removed from Bosa saying he had a great day after <a href="https://www.ninersnation.com/san-francisco-49ers-injuries/162116/49ers-injury-updates-nick-bosa-opens-up-about-his-recovery-2-rookies-still-ou">opening up about his recovery</a>. There was already immense pressure on his shoulders. After Sam Okuayinonu <a href="https://www.ninersnation.com/san-francisco-49ers-news/162210/san-francisco-49ers-news-sam-okuayinonu-broken-foot-out-for-most-2026-season-injury-news-kyle-shanahan">broke his foot </a>and landed on the Injured Reserve, Raheem Morris may rely on his star edge rusher even more.</p><p class="wp-block-paragraph">The question is, how soon will that be the case? You don’t want to put too much on Bosa’s plate too soon. It’s a long season where he’ll be doing a lot of the heavy lifting for the edge rushing group. It may take Bosa a few games to play himself into football shape.</p><p class="wp-block-paragraph">Offensive coordinator Klay Kubiak told the media he’s “Super impressed with how he’s looked, considering the injury and how quickly he got back onto the field” about George Kittle.
