2026 Season Outlook:Harris, at this point of his career, is buried on the depth chart with established upperclassmen and transfers that appear more ready to get on the field. Harris has caught just two balls for two total yards in his career up to this point and with players like Xavier Townsend, Bisi Owens, Asaad Waseem, De’Mylon Morrisette, Corey Smith, and others, Harris just doesn’t appear he’ll get much of a chance this season.

2026 Season Outlook:

Burgos had a solid career at Virginia Tech but shortly after the Hokies announced that Brent Pry would be fired, he jumped into the portal to preserver his final season. He comes to Purdue as a player who has flashed some potential but hasn’t quite put it all together. In his junior campaign, Burgos had 33 total tackles with 2 tackles for loss, .5 sack, and 1 fumble recover.

Burgo’s 6’5 and 285 frame is one that is long and athletic but can he provide that explosive punch off the edge that Purdue has lacked since Nick Scourton left campus? Defensive ends coach Jake Trump was quoted as saying: “In my room, I have standards, not necessarily starters. If you can uphold the standard … I’m going to rotate and play and see who produces and who I can trust. Ultimately, that’s what it’s going to be. I hope I can play from top to bottom and keep people fresh, but I have a room that is highly competitive.”

It appears very clear that Burgos is going to have every chance to be a productive player for Purdue this season.
