Tonight, Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain are set to take on Coupe de France winners RC Lens in the French curtain-raiser. Luis Enrique’s PSG have already collected one trophy this week, beating Aston Villa in the UEFA Super Cup.
Nuno Mendes picked up a knock during the match against Villa on Wednesday, and should be replaced in the line-up by new signing Lucas Digne. The France international was left on the bench against his former team, but will likely be handed his debut tonight.
Yesterday, PSG completed a double signing for Ferran Torres from Barcelona and Mika Godts from Ajax. Of the two, Godts could debut off the bench, while L’Équipe writes that Torres will be rested and has been left out of the matchday squad.
