Prospect games in Detroit announced for Penguins

All of their NCAA prospects (like Will Horcoff and Zam Plante) will not be in attendance, most of their CHL players – including Liam and Markus Ruck – are available. It’s also been rumored that undrafted goalie Carter Casey, one of the stars of Pittsburgh’s summer development camp, will be attending the event with the Pens. We’ll have to stay tuned to see the lineup that the Pens are bringing, but we now at least know it’s t-minus 10 days until the first Penguin team takes the ice to kick off the 2026-27 season at the very beginning for the Detroit prospect challenge.</p>
