CHIPPEWA FALLS — The Eau Claire Memorial girls golf team headed north on Tuesday for a Big Rivers Conference meet at Hallie Golf Course, where they finished second overall as a team.
The Old Abes carded a 169 team score, nine shots behind winning team Hudson.
Memorial junior Stella Brennan, senior Breleigh Schultz and freshman Stella Resnick paced the Old Abes’ placing and all finished tied for sixth with a 42.
Hudson’s Ava Swavely took the individual win with a 37.
River Falls claimed third behind Hudson and Memorial, shooting a 172. Elsie Schmid led the Wildcats, tying for second with a 38 with Hudson’s Lydia Duffey and New Richmond’s Samantha Halle.
Behind them, Rice Lake finished fourth with a 182, New Richmond fifth with a 185, Eau Claire North sixth with a 190, Chippewa Falls seventh with a 202 and Menomonie eighth with a 204.
Eau Claire North sophomore Brooklyn Krall led the Huskies with a 40, good for fifth place.
