Carmelo Anthony has said to me that Paul George—and it’s not just him, it’s other players that have said it—Paul George is like the archetype of today’s player. And I feel like that gets lost in translation, because I hear people say he’s a taller Kyrie in some respects. What’s your relationship like with him, and how do you think that’ll help in Boston? Ron Harper Jr.: Oh man, I’m very excited to play with PG, learn from him. I haven’t had the chance to like to talk to him in person yet, but we’ve talked and, you know, I’m just really excited to have a vet that’s, you know, been through what he’s been through. Like you said, people say he’s a taller Kyrie. Paul George was Dylan’s favorite player when he was younger. Like we literally have 10, maybe 20 Paul George jerseys just sitting around at the house, all in Dylan’s size when he was a kid. So it’s just a really cool, full-circle moment by how he came to Boston. You know, I got off of 13, let him have his number back, cause I know that’s his number. So hopefully we start our relationship off on the right foot, but I’m just really looking forward to learning a lot from him.
