“Students should set clear goals in life and continuously strive to achieve them. Student life is a very precious phase and they should not waste this time but use it to shape their future,” she said.
She was speaking after distributing scholarships to students at the “Shriram Seva Sankalpa” event held at the KPTCL Hall. She and other guests honoured meritorious students.
“When I was a student, I listened to the advice of my elders and teachers. Their blessings and guidance are the reason I have reached this stage in public life today. The world is changing rapidly and new technologies such as AI are advancing fast. Students should constantly learn new technological tools and update themselves. However, they should not waste time in front of television and on mobile phones. Instead, they should develop the habit of reading books and acquiring knowledge,” she said.
“Not all those who have achieved success in life were born rich. Most of them have worked hard and faced many challenges to earn their place. Even if they fail while trying, they should not be discouraged. They should learn from their failures and try again,” the MLA said.
She spoke about the contribution of Shriram Finance and its founder Ramamurthy Tyagarajan. “His vision has helped millions of poor and working-class people,” she said.
Block Education Officer Ravi Bhajantri urged students to accept the difficulties they face in life as challenges and move forward. “Students should reduce their mobile phone usage and develop the habit of reading books. They should also participate in sports and cultural activities,” he said.
