While there are some pretty big former Notre Dame names in the media, Ohio State has a few more that are on the national stage. The Buckeyes have Kirk Herbstreit and Joey Galloway as mainstays on ESPN, and they recently spoke on the “Nonstop Podcast” about the Irish missing the 2025 College Football Playoff. The former wide receiver went in on the quarterback, saying that part of the reason why Notre Dame didn’t get in the 12-team field was a coordinator attack to keep them out. Galloway playfully went after Herbstreit, as he believes that the Irish will play with a chip on their shoulder after what happened last season.
