Ahead of the 2026 season, the Washington Huskies have become a mainstay in the top 25 of preseason rankings. That includes On3, after the outlet released its rankings, including Jedd Fisch's team at No. 17 following an encouraging offseason where the Huskies lost some high-end talent to the NFL, like running back Jonah Coleman and wide receiver Denzel Boston, but also brought in some promising additions through both the high school ranks and the transfer portal. Fisch is expecting left tackle Kodi Greene to step in and start immediately as a true freshman, while wide receivers Jordan Clay and Trez Davis, running back Brian Bonner, defensive linemen TI Umu-Cais, Derek Colman-Brusa, and Ramzak Fruean, and defensive backs Gavin Day, Jeron Jones, and Rahsjon Duncan are all expected to contribute right away.
