Official: Frankfurt's Futkeu joins SV Elversberg on loan

Official: Frankfurt's Futkeu joins SV Elversberg on loan Eintracht Frankfurt and SV Elversberg have agreed to a loan deal for Noel Futkeu ahead of the upcoming 2026-27 season. The striker will move to the Saarland club on a until June 2027, while the newly promoted Bundesliga club also has an option to buy. Futkeu joined Eintracht Frankfurt from Schwarz-Weiß Essen in 2023 and scored 16 goals in 27 Regionalliga (fourth division) appearances. In 2024, Futkeu moved to SpVgg Greuther Fürth and was the top scorer in the 2. Bundesliga last season with 19 goals in 36 games.  “Noel Futkeu is a good example of how young players at Eintracht Frankfurt can develop into professionals via various paths. "Both through the U-21 team and via an intermediate step in another league. “In Elversberg, Noel finds promising conditions to now also gain a foothold in the Bundesliga,” said sporting director Timmo Hardung.
