Notre Dame drops its game trailer for 2026 home opener against Rice

While Notre Dame football opened up its season last weekend with win over , they’ll start their home portion of the schedule on Saturday.

The Irish will host the Rice Owls, and like they do every Friday before a game, the Notre Dame football official social media account . This season has been much different than in the past, as there is no distinct theme associated with these, but the creative team once again made a fantastic video.

It starts off with Brent Musburger narrating, as the clip goes over some of the most historic players in Notre Dame history, then moving on to the current players. The tradition that the Irish have is unlike any other in college football, and this game trailer does a great job of highlighting that.
