The tribute will feature Ayrton Eagle Strike lighting fixtures to create beams of light in the night sky at Neyland Stadium from 6-midnight EDT on Friday.
"On the 25th anniversary of the September 11, 2001 attacks, Tennessee Athletics will honor the occasion with a special lighting tribute at Neyland Stadium, uniting the community in remembrance and resilience," Tennessee announced. "Michael T. Strickland of Bandit Lites introduced the concept to highlight the resilience of the United States and to honor the memory of those lost 25 years ago. The tribute will feature Ayrton Eagle Strike lighting fixtures to create powerful beams of light in the night sky. Neyland Stadium will be illuminated from 6 p.m. to midnight. "
