India’s fashion and lifestyle ecosystem is witnessing the rise of an exciting mix of global names, homegrown and emerging brands. From heritage brands to D2C brands, each is finding its own way to create relevance and capture consumer attention in a constantly evolving fashion and lifestyle landscape. At Myntra Tech Threads 2026, the company’s flagship brand conclave, the e-commerce giant honoured brands across various categories for empowering their customers to express themselves through fashion, beauty and lifestyle.

Under the theme ‘Where Velocity Meets Voice’, Myntra Tech Threads 2026 brought together industry leaders to explore how technology shapes evolving consumer behaviour, modern discovery, and brand scaling. The event also featured an awards ceremony recognising impactful brands across diverse categories and cohorts for leveraging technology to adapt to changing customer needs. The award categories at Tech Threads 2026 reflected the many ways Indian consumers are expressing themselves today.

The Pant Project was named Best D2C Brand, while Comet received Disruptor Brand of the Year and Powerlook was recognised as Gen Z Brand of the Year. The Pant Project was recognised for building strong connections with consumers through distinctive products and experiences, while Comet was recognised for challenging convention and creating new possibilities for consumers. Powerlook’s recognition reflects how brands are increasingly speaking the language of younger generations and turning culture into connection.

Several other homegrown brands featured strongly across the various award categories. Zouk was recognised as Best Handbags Brand, a category where style and functionality increasingly come together; Mokobara as Best Travel Gear & Accessories Brand, reflecting how travel products are becoming smarter and more stylish; Palmonas as Best Jewellery Brand, recognising how jewellery can turn personal style into a statement; and Plum as Best Personal Care Brand, for making everyday self-care smarter and more accessible. In fashion, Jompers took home the award for Best Men’s Ethnicwear Brand, recognising brands bringing Indian tradition into contemporary menswear, and Biba was recognised for Best Women's Ethnicwear Brand, spotlighting how brands are bringing the richness of Indian culture into contemporary fashion.

The fashion landscape is also evolving across everyday and contemporary categories. H&M was named Velocity Brand of the Year, recognising how it moves with the moment and keeps pace with a fast-evolving consumer. Mango received Best International Brand for bringing distinctive global styles to Indian consumers. Lakmé was recognised as the Best Beauty Brand for shaping how consumers discover and experience beauty and Rabanne was awarded Best Luxury Beauty Brand for their contribution to how luxury beauty redefines elegance and craftsmanship for the modern consumer.

Decathlon was named Best Sports Apparel Brand that brings performance and style together, and New Balance received Best Sports Footwear Brand, helping consumers move with performance and purpose. In fashion, Vero Moda, USPA, Jockey, Biba, Underneat and NEXT were among the brands recognised across women’s, men’s and kidswear, reflecting how consumer needs span contemporary style, everyday comfort, ethnic wear and kidswear.

The recognition extended well beyond apparel, reflecting how consumers increasingly approach fashion as part of a broader lifestyle ecosystem.

In footwear, Hush Puppies and CAI were recognised for men’s casual footwear and women’s footwear respectively, highlighting the role of everyday footwear in bringing together style and comfort across occasions. Timex won Best Watches Brand, recognised for its continued role in style, design and timekeeping, and D’Decor was named Best Home & Living Brand, reflecting how the brand enables consumers to turn their everyday spaces into expressions of comfort, style and personality.

The breadth of categories recognised at Tech Threads 2026 reflects India’s fashion and lifestyle ecosystem— from beauty and jewellery to sports, travel, kidswear and home, and how each category shapes India’s evolving expression of fashion and lifestyle.
