Megan Khang hasn't lost a , and, after a morning of dancing on the first tee, she partnered with closed friend Alison Lee on Friday afternoon for a 4-and-3 dusting of Celine Boutier and Nanna Koertz Madsen.
After Lee made eagle on the par-5 10th, Khang added three straight birdies to shift the momentum in the Americans' favor.
"I think the back nine easily kicked off with her eagle," said Khang. "That was so cool to see. Obviously, it's always nice seeing a big bird, and it definitely took the lid off for us. "

Especially given that she has struggled mightily on tour of late, going nearly two months in the summer without making a cut.
But Khang's energy, the authentic and natural way she uplifts and supports everyone around her was something Stanford felt couldn't be left at home, referring to her as the "straw that stirs the drink. "

Khang now owns an 8-3-3 overall Solheim record. She is undefeated in singles play.
