Former Chiefs offensive coordinator and Bears head coach Matt Nagy made his preseason debut with the Giants on Saturday. And he'll use the first two games of the exhibition slate to decide whether to call games from the booth or the sideline.

He's in the booth for the Week 1 game against the Vikings. As Bob Papa explained during the broadcast of the game, Nagy will move to the sideline in Week 2.

Nagy typically works from the field. New coach John Harbaugh's offensive coordinators in Baltimore worked from both locations.

There are pros and cons to both. In the booth, the entire field can be seen at all times. From the field, it's easier to communicate with players between drives.

After the first two preseason games, a decision moving forward apparently will be made as to where Nagy will be working during games.
