Sunderland suffered a 2-1 defeat to Ipswich Town, while Brentford cruised to a 3-0 win against Tottenham. Elsewhere, Leeds United beat Nottingham Forest 1-0 and Everton clinched a 2-0 win over Crystal Palace.
