Liverpool change their mind about ‘fantastic’ star, Richard Hughes has another idea Liverpool have been linked with a whole host of players this summer. to help bolster their ranks. Of course, three new players have already been brought in so the Reds have definitely taken a step in the right direction. But, with how many injuries some of their first-team squad are still nursing, more players still need to be brought in. Many different links with players have started to emerge with some even rumoured to be on their way to Anfield since the World Cup. Change is still on the way at Anfield but now, it seems like a decision has been made on one of their long-term targets.

Liverpool now want to sign Gilberto Mora in January Every single area of Andoni Iraola's squad could do with a new player or two being added to it. The Spaniard still has a lot of work to do to get Liverpool back to their best, especially since he's even admitted that they're not fit enough to play in his system. This obviously left fans rather worried and made them want new additions to be brought in even more. At the moment, the Reds' attack is their main problem area which is probably why Gilberto Mora was mooted as a potential option. However, as per a fresh update from Mexican outlet 24 Horas via Sport Witness, it seems like Richard Hughes now wants Liverpool to sign the "fantastic" starlet in January instead.

"Now Wednesday’s print edition of 24 Horas says Liverpool are among several major European sides to have made approaches over a potential winter transfer," they wrote. "Gilberto Mora is also attracting Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain, Borussia Dortmund and Barcelona, as per the Mexican newspaper. "The report says those clubs have sounded out the possibility of taking the midfielder in the winter market. "Liverpool had already been credited with making contact, but the latest report now ties those approaches directly to a possible January move." GambleAware.org £30 FREECLAIM NOW Signing Gilberto Mora in January makes a lot of sense From his World Cup performances alone, it's clear to tell that Mora has bags of potential. The 17-year-old is the second-youngest player to ever feature at a World Cup and, while he never managed to score or assist during the tournament, the chances he created were fairly impressive. At the moment, Mora has a release clause in his contract so, no matter when a club chooses to sign him, he'll be the same price. And, giving the youngster some extra time to develop his game in Mexico could be massively beneficial for him. After all, he is only 17 years old so, packing his bags and moving to a foreign country might not end all that well. So, at the moment, keeping him with Club Tijuana seems like the best possible option, even if it does mean that another one of Liverpool's targets gets away.
