Lando Norris has stepped in the world of team owner role with LN4 Fusion, as he teams up with former Prema Team boss to create a team to help young drivers.
The 2025 F1 world champion is at the stage to give back to the sport and he is doing so by creating LN4 Fusion team, which is made to help youngsters carve their way through the junior ladder to the pinnacle. Much like Max Verstappen, McLaren’sNorris has stepped into team co-ownership role.
Who is in which role
The multi-championship junior single-seater racing team will be headed by Rene Rosin, who was leading one of the biggest junior teams Prema, until his departure. Norris never raced for the Italian outfit, but he always played a good rival role for the team’s drivers in his junior days.
Rosin will have support of Fusion Motorsport’s Dan Hazlewood, who will look after the team’s competitions in the British championships. Guillaume Capietto, meanwhile, will be the team’s Racing Director, overseeing the competition and technical aspects across the full operation.
The team has acquired selected assets of AIX Racing team, which has a confirmed FIA Formula 3 Championship entry in 2027 and also runs a Formula 2 team. LN4 Fusion has already confirmed participation in three European championships from next year.
Championships and base
They are Italian Formula 4 Championship, FIA Formula Regional European Championship and FIA Formula 3 Championship. They are working towards participation in the British F4 Championship in the future, with a dedicated testing programme already on.
The European headquarters of LN4 Fusion will be based in Northern Italy in Veneto, with a new facility already in development. The British base will be in Cambridgeshire. In addition to the team, they are also launching a LN4 Legacy programme with support of ADD Management.
The programme will be headed by Julian Rouse, with the idea of identifying exceptional talents and preparing ad supporting them. The whole programme is developed by investment group led by Dan Richards, who oversees LN4 Fusion’s corporate and commercial side.
