The Los Angeles Rams have Super Bowl-or-bust expectations after falling short in 2024 and 2025, especially as they're set to host the championship game this season. After adding Myles Garrett, Trent McDuffie, and Jaylen Watson to the mix, the Rams arguably have one of the best rosters of all time. At least on paper. However, the Rams haven't proved anything yet, and until they get a chance to play regular-season games, we really won't know if the team is as good as advertised. For veteran running back Kyren Williams, he has held the standards of the franchise since his All-Pro season in 2023. He spoke on "First Things First" about those expectations, calling them a privilege and a driving force behind the efforts they put in at practice. “This pressure that we’re getting is a privilege," said Williams. Williams would go on to praise the character of the roster, highlighting their work ethic. He also said that being surrounded by such high-caliber players had helped the team avoid falling victim to laziness. "The way that we are right now, the vibe of this team, we got workers," said Williams. "These guys are gonna come in and work every single day.” Despite lingering concerns about the lack of contract extensions for a big portion of the roster, the Rams have avoided contractual issues as every player has been a full participant since the start of training camp.
