Carlton notched 54 kills, 59 digs, seven aces, a couple blocks and three assists, helping Morristown to wins over Hagerstown and Brown County, plus a five-set loss to Oldenburg Academy. The junior cleared 500 career kills during the week.Adelynn Crispin, New Palestine
Crispin racked up 64 kills across six matches, including 10 in a five-set win over Greenwood Christian and 13 in a come-from-behind three-set victory over Southport. Elizondo notched 37 assists in a four-set win over Sheridan, then eclipsed that total with 41 in a five-set loss to Greencastle. The senior setter rounded out her weekly line with a couple kills, an ace and 15 digs.Madelyn Ellis, Lawrenceburg
Ellis enjoyed an explosive start to the season, putting down 26 kills on .304 hitting in a five-set win over Jennings County. She followed that effort with 16 kills against Connersville and 12 against North Decatur. Ellis also tallied 10 aces (six vs. Connersville), 10 blocks, 25 digs and a couple assists.Gabby Gilliard, Center Grove
Gilliard kicked off her sophomore campaign with back-to-back 20-kill efforts. She had 28 on .489 hitting in a four-set win over Trinity Lutheran, then notched 25 on .375 hitting against Avon. Gilliard rounded out the week with 16 kills vs. Ben Davis, leaving her with 69 on .433 hitting in three matches. She also logged 11 aces, six blocks and 36 digs.Kyla Hurley, Penn
Hurley helped the Kingsmen go a full three sets vs. defending 4A state champion Fort Wayne Carroll, logging 30 digs and an assist. That highlighted an already strong week for the junior, who totaled 92 digs, eight aces (six vs. Northridge) and eight assists in six matches.Maysa Lawrence, Evansville Memorial
The defensive specialist has racked up 89 digs (5.9 per set) and 93 receptions in 15 sets. She also put down a kill, served up four aces and doled out 12 assists. She had 33 digs in a five-set win over Gibson Southern last week.Olivia Schiffli, Hamilton Heights
Schiffli marked the first four weeks of her junior season with 12 kills on .333 hitting in a sweep of Lebanon and 16 on .367 hitting in a straight-set loss to Carmel. Sigler totaled 40 kills, highlighted by a 16 on .464 hitting in a three-set sweep of Brebeuf Jesuit. She also tallied an ace, three blocks (two vs. Benton Central), 17 digs and an assist.Audrey Staggs, Northview
The Knights are 5-3 with its losses to 4A Plainfield (2) and Zionsville. Staggs is at the forefront of their strong start with 65 kills on .316 hitting. She accounted for 50 of those kills last week, including 16 on .424 hitting in a four-set loss to Plainfield. The senior rounded out her line with 22 digs, an ace and a couple assists.Adley Staples, Tecumseh
Staples blasted out of the gates for her sophomore season, picking up 67 kills (28 against Forest Park), 48 digs (17 vs. Princeton), 51 assists (19 vs. Evansville Mater Dei and Princeton) seven aces and three blocks.Brooklyn Wake, Franklin Central
The 6-foot middle followed a strong opening Saturday with a very efficient week: 32 kills on .453 hitting in four matches. She also tallied 13 aces, helping the Flashes to wins over Perry Meridian, Warren Central, Columbus North (16 kills, four blocks, three aces) and Muncie Burris. Wake's efforts were part of a record-setting performance Thursday: vs. Warren Central: Team hitting percentage (.586) and kill% in a best-of-3 match (62.1%).Ali Wells, Greensburg
Wells, a junior setter/defensive specialist, doled out 117 assists in 12 sets with only six errors on 305 attempts. She also notched 40 digs, six blocks, nine aces and eight kills. Her week was highlighted by a pair of 40-assist performances, including a 47-spot vs. East Central.Emilie Zapp, Roncalli
Zapp logged 39 assists in a five-set loss to Lawrence North, then tallied 36 in a five-set win over Carmel. She also picked up 30 digs, four blocks (all vs. Carmel), a couple aces and four kills.Olivia Zmuda, Marquette Catholic
