Jujutsu Kaisen Returns In Huge New Crossover With Hit Video Game IP

The fourth season of ōnen franchise is still a powerhouse IP, and it's no surprise to see that there's more in store than just the Jujutsu Kaisen Rumble: Survivaton being one exciting project on the horizon. While that game still has no release date beyond a 2026 window, a major new online game collaboration officially landed on PC today.

Jujutsu Kaisen has now come to PUBG: Battlegrounds, as announced earlier this week on the official PUBG website. Today, the X account shared the event has kicked off on PC, while console players will get access to the collaboration one week from now on September 17.

The PUBG x Jujutsu Kaisen crossover offers "Jujutsu Kaisen-themed battlegrounds" across Normal, Ranked, and Casual matches, including a variety of themed details across various maps. All maps have received Jujutsu Kaisen Boxes, themed Care Packages, and an overhauled airplane livery. Erangel, meanwhile, also gets themed warehouses with Jujutsu Kaisen standees, photo spots, and vending machines, along with billboards boasting anime designs.

Jujutsu Kaisen has also infected various weapons in the game, with new Progressive weapon skins and Contraband and Cargo offering a chance to receive themed items. The store contains Jujutsu Kaisen crafter packs and Step Up Packs for those looking to spend some money.
