Angelina Jolie shares plans to travel the world
While she plans to spend more time abroad, Jolie also indicated plans for the international expansion of Atelier Jolie. The actor indicated that the creative house's global expansion will begin in Brazil, with plans to visit different locations around the world and meet local artists and makers.Her international commitments also include her humanitarian work, visiting refugee communities around the world through her association with the United Nations, while also developing the Maddox Foundation, her Cambodia-based non-profit.
“My home in Cambodia will also be a residency a few months out of the year for Khmer culture,” Jolie said.The actress adopted her eldest son, Maddox, from Cambodia and named the foundation after him.

In May, Angelina listed her historic California home, formerly owned by legendary filmmaker Cecil B. DeMille, for USD 29.85 million. A source told PEOPLE, “She’s been talking about leaving Los Angeles for years.”Jolie, who shares six children - Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, and twins Vivienne and Knox, who turned 18 in July- with ex-husband Brad Pitt, was reportedly required to stay in the US till the kids turned 18, as part of her divorce arrangements.Jolie and Pitt separated in 2016 and finalised their divorce in 2024.
When Angelina Jolie revealed plans to leave LA
Jolie, in a previous August 2024 interview with The Hollywood Reporter, revealed that she remained in LA, partly because of her family circumstances following her divorce. “I grew up in” Los Angeles, Jolie said, but added that she was living there “because I have to be here from a divorce.” Referencing Vivienne and Knox, she added, “But as soon as they’re 18, I’ll be able to leave.”
