PHILADELPHIA – Jalin Turner wouldn't mind throwing down for the UFC's "Baddest Motherf*cker" title. Turner (16-9 MMA, 9-6 UFC), one of the most dangerous strikers at 155 pounds, likes the idea of challenging for the BMF title following his latest feat in the octagon. "The Tarantula" picked up a wild 39-second KO win over Kaue Fernandes (11-3 MMA, 3-2 UFC) on the main card of Saturday's UFC 330. The victory put Turner on a two-fight winning streak, and kept his 100 percent finishing record, making him, in the eyes of some, eligible for a BMF title bout. "That's very enticing," Turner said at the UFC 330 post-fight press conference. "Charles (Oliveira) has it right now ... If Max (Holloway) had it, it would be more fun. Charles' grappling is good, but the way he got it wasn't the most BMF style. I'm just keeping it honest. But if it were me and Max, we ran it for the BMF, that would be tight. I think the fans would go crazy for that. Striking battle, me and him. That'd be fun. "I don't know what the future has to offer as far as title fights. Oh, look, bro. I'm sorry. Y'all getting me amped up. Yeah, BMF title, Jalin Turner, whatever it is. Let's do it." Despite having a 100 percent finishing record, it looks like Turner didn't expect things to go as quick as they did at UFC 330. He was just in the process of feeling out Fernandez, and next thing you know, he was the winner. "I was trying to get a read on what was going to happen, kind of visualize what was going to happen, and 39 seconds was not in any of my predictions, manifestations, prayers, nothing."
