Jacksonville Jaguars' two-way star Travis Hunter got another heavy workload during the team's 15th training camp session on Aug. 18 at the Miller Electric Center.
And like recent practices, it was top-heavy on defense.
On a day when the Jaguars practiced in shorts and helmets ahead of a joint practice with the Carolina Panthers, Hunter got a solid day's work, taking all of his snaps in 11-on-11 periods and at one point playing eight defensive snaps in a row
Hunter nearly made his third interception of camp. On a pass from Trevor Lawrence that appeared to be tipped at the line of scrimmage, the ball floated towards no open receiver in particular, with Hunter and Jabbar Muhammad in the vicinity.
Either of them could have made the pick. Muhammad stepped in front of Hunter and snared the ball.
Hunter still got touches during his limited work on offense: Two plays, two runs from scrimmage.

How many snaps did Travis Hunter have?
Hunter was in on 21 snaps total, a day after he had 31 plays. He had two offensive plays and 19 on defense.
On Aug. 17, Hunter had five offensive snaps and 31 on defense. His snap count the last two days is seven offense and 50 defense.
For the season, Hunter has 62 offensive snaps, 137 defensive snaps and one special-teams snap in 11-on-11 periods. He has 10 offense and 18 defense in 7-on-7 periods, for a total of 72 offensive plays and 155 defensive plays.
Hunter has nine receptions on offense and three carries from scrimmage. In addition to his two interceptions, he has has broken up three passes.
