The Indian Institute of Management-Kozhikode (IIM-K) has made a significant 15-place leap in the Financial Times Masters in Management (FT MiM) rankings 2026, rising from 69th globally in 2025 to 54th in 2026.

The achievement places IIM-K’s flagship postgraduate programme (PGP) among the world’s top 55 management programmes, marking another significant milestone in the institute’s growing global stature.

The latest ranking also highlights IIM-K’s strong performance across parameters that reflect its commitment to future-ready management education, including sustainability, career development, diversity, and inclusion.

Commenting on the achievement, IIM-K Director Debashis Chatterjee said, “Moving 15 places to 54th in the Financial Times Masters in Management rankings is a significant step forward in IIM-K’s global journey. But rankings are meaningful only when they reflect what truly matters—our students’ growth, their career aspirations, diversity in the classroom, and our responsibility towards a sustainable future. Our progress in ESG and Net Zero Teaching, career services, and gender diversity is particularly encouraging. As IIM-K moves closer to the global Top-50, our ambition remains clear—to build an institution that is globally benchmarked, deeply rooted in Indian thought, and committed to creating leaders for a changing world.”

IIM-K recorded a notable 14-place improvement in ESG & Net Zero Teaching, rising from 66th globally in 2025 to 52nd in 2026.

The Institute also ranked an impressive 23rd globally in career services, significantly ahead of its overall global ranking.

IIM-K continues to demonstrate exceptional gender diversity, with women constituting 55% of the student cohort. This places IIM-K at approximately 14th globally in female student representation and first among Indian institutions featured in the FT MiM 2026.
