The stadium was buzzing! Stuart: I watched City against Nice and told anybody who would listen, we are a good side, the new boys are excellent. It was a really great performance against United, the tactics were spot on and we thoroughly deserved to win.
I backed them for promotion last season and for a top-half finish this year. David: Performed very well with the new signings showing we are a team who will certainly beat a lot of the Premier League sides if we continue with such positivity. Chris: The Tigers were rampant today and it was tenacity and skill. Winning second and third balls consistently showed we were by far the better side. Now, as with the last time we hit the Premier League, we will have to deal with the 'underdog' narrative.
What is similar to our last time is that we have a style of play that is our own and that no one will want to play against. Henry: Hull City were very organised, more energetic and more physically fit than Man Utd - no wonder they outclassed them.
