Jakirovic’s impressive start comes after he guided Hull to promotion through the Championship play-offs last season, with the club now unbeaten after three Premier League matches and sitting third with seven points

Jakirovic becomes only the third Hull manager to win the prize, following in September 2008 and in August 2016. He is also the first Bosnian to claim the award.
