The Steelers will face Aaron Rodgers' former team in their first preseason game.
The Packers will arrive at Acrisure Stadium on Thursday for the AFC vs. NFC battle, but it's unclear if they will actually compete against Rodgers. The 42-year-old quarterback has made it clear that he doesn't believe he would gain any sort of advantage by playing in preseason games.
"I think preseason football is good to see guys with the pads on, under the lights, how they react to the nerves, but it's not real, regular-season football," Rodgers said.
Still, it will be worth monitoring how the offensive unit performs under new coach Mike McCarthy.
