How to Watch BlizzCon 2026 and What to Expect

This weekend, Blizzard will host in the works surfacing just weeks before the event. Here's how to watch the show so you don't miss out on anything.

BlizzCon 2026 opening ceremony and event schedule

The dates of this year's BlizzCon are Sept. 12–13. The Opening Ceremony, where Blizzard is likely to make the biggest announcements of the weekend, will kick off the convention at 10:30 a.m. PDT / 1:30 p.m. EDT and run for an hour and 15 minutes on the convention's main stage. There will be a number of events held on various stages throughout the weekend, but the most important stuff will happen on the main stage. Here's a rundown of the schedule. Note that all times are listed in PDT.

Blizzard will likely lead with plenty of announcements about Overwatch. Blizzard promised that 10 new heroes would be released this year, leaving two still missing in action. Expect an official reveal. As far as Diablo 4 is concerned, expect some updates, but with an expansion having been released just this year, it probably won't be anything big.

All eyes, however, are on StarCraft. on the game's official website. This could be a new mainline RTS game or the rumored shooter that is in the works. You'll have to tune in to find out.
