The Arizona Cardinals continue their 2026 preseason Thursday night against the Las Vegas Raiders at Allegiant Stadium, with both teams planning to give their starters some work.

Arizona already has one preseason game under its belt after playing Carolina in the Hall of Fame Game, but this will provide the first look at several of the Cardinals’ top players. Head coach Mike LaFleur said Jacoby Brissett and the starters will play against Las Vegas after sitting out the opener, with first-round rookie running back Jeremiyah Love among the players expected to see action. The Cardinals are coming off a 3-14 season and are beginning a new era under LaFleur, making these preseason reps particularly valuable as the team installs its new systems and evaluates a reshaped roster.

Las Vegas will also play its starters in its first preseason game under head coach Klint Kubiak. Veteran quarterback Kirk Cousins and first-round rookie Fernando Mendoza are both expected to see action, giving Raiders fans an early look at the team’s present and potential future at quarterback. Kubiak said Mendoza will receive “plenty of experience” in the opener, while the game will also give Las Vegas its first opportunity to evaluate its roster and position battles in live action ahead of the regular season.
