POSEYVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) — After counting up 1,706 total votes, North Posey's Carter Schickel was named our Week two Home Team Friday MVP of the night. The senior quarterback threw for over 300 yards for four touchdowns in the Vikings 48-14 win over Tecumseh. Schickel's performance cemented his spot atop the North Posey record books as he's now the all-time leader in passing yards and passing touchdowns in school history. He secured 70.4 percent of the votes to claim MVP. "Feels good," he said. "It' just an honor to be Home Team Friday MVP. Got the community behind me to vote for me, it's just a great experience. It's good to you know show off our community, we have a lot of love in the community. So to be able to perform out there on Friday night for them it's just, it's a great feeling."
