The Dallas Cowboys dominated the Arizona Cardinals in their second preseason game Saturday night, and quarterback Joe Milton was at the center of it, earning Player of the Game honors. Milton got the start over Sam Howell after a strong week of practice, and he carried that momentum into the game. He completed 9 of 13 passes for 179 yards and two touchdowns through the air and one touchdown on the ground.
His first score came with 6:41 remaining in the first quarter. Under pressure, Milton stepped away from the rush, kept his eyes downfield, and found running back Malik Davis for an 8-yard touchdown that gave Dallas an early lead.
