The event will feature GT3, GT4 and touring cars from manufacturers including Acura, Aston Martin, Audi, BMW, Ferrari, Lamborghini, McLaren, Mercedes-AMG and Porsche, according to a community announcement.Two 90-minute GT World Challenge America races headline the weekend and will include driver changes, full-service pit stops and on-track competition around Road America's 4-mile, 14-turn course.
Additional racing series scheduled during the event include GT America powered by AWS, Toyota Gazoo Racing North America GR Cup, Pirelli GT4 America, McLaren Trophy America and TC America powered by Skip Barber.
Racing extends beyond the main circuit
Fans will also find motorsports activities across the property.
Radio-controlled racers are set to compete in the North Paddock with scale race cars. Power Wheels racing will feature drag racing and head-to-head competition on a coned road course.
At the Briggs & Stratton Motorplex, Road America Karting Club competitors will race on Aug. 29. Porsche Club of America drivers are scheduled to participate in an autocross competition on Aug. 30.
Car enthusiasts and families have additional options
Road America's SRO Car Collective will allow participants to display their vehicles in a trackside car corral. All vehicle makes and models are welcome, according to the announcement.Families attending the weekend can also use the facility's 18-hole disc golf course, visit the Paddock Shop for merchandise and take shuttle transportation throughout the 640-acre property.
Children 16 and younger receive free general admission when accompanied by a paying adult at the gate.
