Greg Cosell believes Philadelphia’s franchise quarterback is equipped to handle it.
The offense will not remove Hurts’ responsibility to make accurate throws or timely decisions. It should, however, provide more answers before and immediately after the snap. Hurts has already demonstrated that he can win from the pocket, attack defenses as a runner, and deliver in high-leverage situations. Sean Mannion’s challenge is combining those strengths with a system that creates easier opportunities.
After reviewing the film, Cosell believes Hurts can make it work.
