German federal prosecutors on Friday charged seven suspected members of the over an alleged plot to carry out a deadly attack on Israeli or Jewish targets in Germany or Austria.
The men are accused of helping procure weapons and taking part in preparations for an attack, the Federal Prosecutor's Office in Karlsruhe said on Friday.
Investigators believe the suspects, who were arrested in Germany and abroad over recent months, were already pursuing a concrete attack plan.
Prosecutors say the men were involved in obtaining weapons and planning an attack targeting Israeli or Jewish institutions or individuals.
