The 2026 high school football season is underway in Georgia.
Action kicked off on Wednesday, Aug. 12, with quarterback Elam Rahman leading North Gwinnett to an upset 37-22 victory over USA TODAY Sports Super 25 No. 12 Grayson in the Corky Kell + Dave Hunter Classic at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
Rahman completed 8-of-9 passes for 148 yards and three touchdowns in the upset victory. The result will certainly have an impact on the Super 25 entering Week 1 of the season.
Before then, a handful of more teams are in action on Friday, Aug. 14, in the Peach State, as other states — including Alaska, Hawaii, Nevada and Florida — enter the fray for the high school season kicking off.
No. 15 Carrollton and No. 19 Creekside are Super 25 teams that kick off next week. Here's a look at the scores of Georgia high school football games today:
