Florida State men’s basketball has become the first team at FSU to announce a sponsorship patch partner, the program announced on Friday. The company set to adorn the Seminoles’ jerseys? Reliquest, a Tampa-based cybersecurity firm. “We’re excited to welcome ReliaQuest as a partner of Florida State Basketball and to have their logo represented on our uniforms this season,” head coach Luke Loucks said in a statement. “What makes this partnership so special are the people and the relationships behind it. The foundation of any great partnership is built on supporting one another, and that’s something we feel strongly with ReliaQuest. Brian Murphy, founder and CEO of ReliaQuest, has been an incredible asset and friend as someone who values family, relationships, and building a great organization with values in mind. We’re grateful for the opportunity to work with a company that believes in excellence, people, and building something bigger than themselves. We’re looking forward to representing ReliaQuest and continuing to grow together as part of the Florida State community.”

Murphy, a class of 2000 graduate, has been active in his support of Florida State over the years, including giving personally and through ReliaQuest to create the ReliaQuest Analytics Teaching Lab in Legacy Hall and serving as lead sponsor of the FSU Sales Institute’s International Collegiate Sales Competition. He was inducted into the Alumni Hall of Fame in 2022. “At ReliaQuest we are focused on raising awareness of the importance of cybersecurity and the opportunities in the industry. Partnerships with organizations like Florida State University help us bring that awareness to a broader audience,” said Brian Murphy, founder and CEO of ReliaQuest. “We’re proud to support FSU Athletics.” Full financial details of the deal have not been disclosed, though Tomahawk Nation has submitted an FOIA request. The full press release:

TALLAHASSEE – Championship teams are built on elite defense and preparing for what’s next. Those same principles are at the heart of a landmark new partnership between Florida State Men’s Basketball and ReliaQuest, a global leader in cybersecurity. Florida State Athletics announced today that ReliaQuest will become the program’s official jersey patch partner beginning with the 2026-27 season. As part of the multi-year agreement, the ReliaQuest logo will appear on all Seminole game jerseys, marking the first jersey patch sponsorship in FSU Athletics history. “This partnership with ReliaQuest represents an important milestone for Florida State Athletics and reflects the continued momentum of our men’s basketball program under Coach Luke Loucks,” Vice President and Director of Michael Alford said. “As the first jersey patch partnership in our athletics history, it demonstrates the strength of the Florida State brand and the confidence innovative companies like ReliaQuest have in the direction of our program. ReliaQuest has been an outstanding partner to Florida State, our College of Business and the ACC, and we’re proud to expand that relationship in a way that supports our student-athletes while aligning with an organization that shares our commitment to innovation, excellence and preparing for what’s next.” The partnership brings together two organizations that understand success is built on preparation, innovation and staying one step ahead of the competition. While the Seminoles are committed to defending the court, ReliaQuest helps organizations around the world defend their digital environments by using AI-powered security operations to detect, investigate and respond to cyber threats. “At ReliaQuest we are focused on raising awareness of the importance of cybersecurity and the opportunities in the industry. Partnerships with organizations like Florida State University help us bring that awareness to a broader audience,” said Brian Murphy, founder and CEO of ReliaQuest. “We’re proud to support FSU Athletics.” Headquartered in Tampa, Florida, ReliaQuest is one of the world’s fastest-growing cybersecurity technology companies whose platform, GreyMatter, serves as the Agentic Defense for the enterprise—defending organizations against AI-accelerated attacks. The company’s commitment to innovation and high performance aligns with Florida State’s pursuit of excellence on and off the court, having been a sponsor of FSU Athletics since 2023 and the official cybersecurity partner since 2025. RealiaQuest’s investment extends even further as the company is also a partner with the Florida State University College of Business as well as the Atlantic Coast Conference. The ReliaQuest logo will make its debut on Florida State’s uniforms during the 2026-27 season and will be featured throughout the year on all official competition jerseys. “We’re excited to welcome ReliaQuest as a partner of Florida State Basketball and to have their logo represented on our uniforms this season,” said FSU Men’s Basketball head coach Luke Loucks. We’re looking forward to representing ReliaQuest and continuing to grow together as part of the Florida State community.” As Florida State Men’s Basketball continues its new era under coach Loucks, the partnership with ReliaQuest represents another significant step in the continued growth of the program. Florida State Global Partnerships, a collaboration between Legends Global and Florida State Athletics, facilitated the partnership with ReliaQuest. ABOUT RELIAQUEST ReliaQuest is an agentic AI cybersecurity company whose platform, GreyMatter, serves as the Agentic Defense for the enterprise—defending organizations against AI-accelerated attacks. Any defender can harness that AI to detect threats, run investigations, execute response, and hunt across their entire tech stack in plain language without requiring any tool expertise. GreyMatter makes this possible through three capabilities: the Universal Translator, which automatically normalizes telemetry across any vendor without data centralization; Detection at Source, at Storage, or in Transit, which catches threats where data lives or as it moves before it is ever indexed, parsed, or stored; and Agentic Orchestration, which combines a natural language operating layer, multiple autonomous agentic systems, and an AI Model Broker that continuously selects the best model for every task based on speed, cost, and accuracy. GreyMatter enables organizations to re-architect their security environment for speed, efficiency, and cost control. ReliaQuest has been making security possible since 2007.
