Laxmi Hebbalkar, MLA and former Minister, has lauded the women of the Badal Ankalagi village for donating money from their Gruha Lakshmi monthly payments to build a chariot for the village temple.

I praise the devotion, unity, and social concern demonstrated by the women in utilising the funds received from a government scheme for the village’s religious and social causes. I am sure the other villagers will contribute towards the construction of the chariot for Sri Sadguru Sadananda Maharaj,’’ she said, according to a release.
