Fantasy Football ADP Movers: Stefon Diggs leads this week's risers after joining Commanders

With training camp in full swing and preseason games underway, the ADP (average draft position) landscape is moving at the speed of sound. I'll be here every Friday throughout the preseason to catalogue the biggest risers and fallers from the past week.

The ADP used in this article comes from DraftKings Best Ball, which I find to be extremely responsive to news and other developments, making it a good barometer for where players are going to be drafted in the future.

ADP Risers

Stefon Diggs, WR, Commanders (+43)

The most obvious riser comes in miles ahead of anyone else this week. New England kept Diggs on a pitch count last year, limiting him to a 71 percent route rate. Even including his quiet postseason, Diggs averaged 2.1 yards per route, a top-15 mark among wideouts. The Commanders likely won’t have much of a choice but to play him more. Even if his efficiency drops on a higher route rate, Diggs could put up WR3 numbers in Washington.

Ja’Kobi Lane, WR, Ravens (+32)

Lane has been the talk of the town in Baltimore. He’s not just turning heads. Lane has become the Steven Smith of offseason practices.

Lane wasn’t a big-time producer at USC, finishing his career with 745 yards and four scores in 2025. He was, however, competing with first-rounder Makai Lemon for targets. At 6’4, Lane profiles as an outside, X receiver. That’s exactly what the Ravens need to complement Zay Flowers. The train has left the station in Best Ball, but Lane will likely go much later in redraft formats.

Pat Bryant, WR, Broncos (+20)

Bryant has been a standout at camp so far and seems to be pulling away from Troy Franklin and Marvin Mims for the WR3 job. It’s getting to the point where he might be closer to WR2 than WR4. He was starting to gain traction in the offense last year before concussions derailed his season. Bryant was a late-bloomer at Illinois, but he did erupt in his senior season with 978 yards and 10 scores, good for a 43 percent College Dominator. He then went on Day Two of the draft. This is a player we want to be investing in.

Denzel Boston, WR, Browns (+18)

Like Lane, Boston has apparently been doing his best Jerry Rice impression during training camp. Every day, Browns beat reporters are tweeting about several great plays from the rookie, and fantasy managers are taking notice.

Marshawn Lloyd, RB, Packers (+17)

Josh Jacobs is out with a groin injury and could still face a suspension. Fellow Packers backup Chris Brooks is still on the NFI list. That has resulted in Lloyd operating as the team’s starting running back for most of training camp, and he has drawn rave reviews. The late rounds aren’t exactly stocked with talented backups at running back, and Lloyd is a former Day Two pick who could force a part-time role in the Green Bay backfield with a strong camp. He remains a buy even as the price goes up.

Bonus: Parker Washington, WR, Jaguars (+6)

Rising from 220 to 200 doesn’t convey much of a change in a player’s value. Jumping from 21 to 1 is such a large jump that I doubt it’s ever happened in my lifetime. If we look at the value of each spot moved, Washington is the second-largest riser, even though the number itself is small. The bonus pick in “Fallers” will also be based on pick value.

I have made the argument this summer that Washington did not look like a high-level fantasy contributor through three years of college and 2.5 NFL seasons. Then he posted four good games and has been crowned the 2026 breakout receiver. The Jags seem to disagree. All reports from camp not only have him playing well, but they also have him being the focal point of the passing attack. I have capitulated slightly, flipping him and Brian Thomas Jr. in my Best Ball rankings. Still, I don’t think I’m going to get very much of him in drafts.

ADP Fallers

Antonio Williams, WR, Commanders (-22)

No surprises here, as Williams is the player most hurt by the presence of Stefon Diggs. Williams wasn’t making waves in camp before the signing and is now fighting for the WR3 gig. Unless he starts balling out in camp, Williams is no longer on the fantasy menu.

Kenyon Sadiq, TE, Jets (-16)

Sadiq suffered a setback in his recovery from offseason hernia surgery. The good news is that he is expected to be back for Week 1. The bad news is that he’s a rookie tight end fighting for reps behind a Day Two pick from last year in Mason Taylor, and now he’s going to miss most of the offseason. Sadiq is still a viable third tight end in Best Ball. This injury takes him off the redraft radar entirely.

Makai Lemon, WR, Eagles (-12)

Lemon has yet to participate in camp because of a lingering hamstring issue. He returned for some work on the JUGS machine earlier this week, which beat reporters insisted was progress. Still, we’re at the point of this becoming a problem for his early-season production. Dontayvion Wicks has also been a standout in camp, meaning he could earn a starting role in two-receiver sets over Lemon for Week 1. Lemon was an elite prospect and was scooped up by a team that knows when to pounce on value in the draft. I still believe he’s a strong fantasy contributor by the end of his rookie season, but you probably don’t want him in your lineups in September.

Jalen McMillan, WR, Bucs (-12)

McMillan makes this list based on a minor knee injury. He missed a few days of practice but has already returned for individual drills. The bigger issue is his competition for routes. Third-round rookie Ted Hurst has been making plays throughout camp and his role runs through McMillan as the team’s second option at X receiver. Over the course of the season, it wouldn’t be surprising to see McMillan’s role decline as Hurst becomes more involved.

Kaelon Black, RB, 49ers (-9)

Black remains out of practice with an adductor injury. He briefly shot up draft boards when Jordan James suffered a fractured rib, but an injury of his own sent his ADP packing. This situation is ultimately a stay-away until we get clarity on who the RB2 is.

Bonus: Luther Burden, WR, Bears (-3)

Burden suffered a groin injury in practice. The team is hopeful he’s ready for Week 1, but it sounds like, at best, his training camp is over. For a player who never hit 70 percent of the team’s routes in a single game last year and has already been slapped with the injury-prone tag by his doubters, boy this is not a great outcome.

On the other hand… offseason injuries are one of the many things fantasy managers love to overreact to. Right now, it looks like Burden should be ready for Week 1. The general sentiment after the injury was that it also hurt the offense because the plan was for the passing game to run through Burden.

That’s still possible, even if we should expect a slower start to the season from Burden. I’m using this as an opportunity to buy the dip on a clear breakout candidate.
