ST. LOUIS - In a town where baseball is a religion and its field is considered heaven. The reaction from Cardinal nation when one of the most hated people in St. Louis sports history buys the angels is not positive.
“Doesn’t he have enough,” expressed a fan outside of bush stadium today.
Stan Kroenke has bought the Los Angeles Angels for a reported major league record $4 billion.
From across the Atlantic one Cardinal fan from the UK said he is very familiar with Stan. “ I find it quite ironic, he bought the angels cause it’s like the devil buying the angels isn’t it,” said Rob Steel from South Wales.
