The Atlanta Falcons are set to open the 2026 NFL preseason against an extremely talented Denver Broncos team this Friday night at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. While Bo Nix and Michael Penix Jr. won't be taking the field, both teams are expected to play most of their starters for about a series.
Falcons quarterback Tua Tagovailoa will start and make his team debut, plus fans can get a look at undrafted free agent Jack Strand and veteran Cooper Rush. Friday's game kicks off at 7 p.m. ET on FOX 5 in Atlanta.

The Falcons revealed their uniforms for the preseason opener. As you can see below, the players will be wearing the team's new red jerseys with white pants and regular black helmets against Denver.

Broncos reveal preseason Week 1 uniforms:
The Broncos also revealed their preseason uniforms on Thursday. The team will wear its white uniforms with orange pants. Check them out below, as shared by Broncos' social media account.
