The 31-year-old joined the Chester-le-Street side, who sit top of Division Two of the County Championship, from Warwickshire in 2025. The former Yorkshire man has hit a total of 6,794 first-class runs. "Since joining Durham we have seen that Will can perform in all three formats, and we look forward to seeing him contribute in a Durham shirt over the coming year," head coach Ryan Campbell told the club website.
