Although Tampa Bay did exactly what was needed to be done and picked up the win at Comerica Park on Monday night, the postseason race continues to stay close for the AL East division leader. The New York Yankees are only 3.5 games behind and will look to close the lead even further when they get back to playing on Tuesday in the Bronx. The Tigers have struggled all season and sit near the bottom of the American League, something the Rays must capitalize on and hopefully turn into a sweep while in Detroit. As for the Yankees, they'll begin a series at home against the Houston Astros, who are looking to win their own division and return to the postseason.
