JENNERSTOWN — Six new members were inducted into the Jennerstown Speedway Complex Hall of Fame, Saturday, Aug. 15.

David Robertson, Charles Meyers, Tracey Colarusso, Timothy Ice, Vernon Yoder and Vinicent Randisi joined some elite drivers.

Jesse Fischbach won the first of two Ohio Wheelman Super Series 30-lap features to open the racing action.

He took the lead at the stripe with nine to go and progressively distanced himself from the challengers.

Dylan Napier was cruising in the Ohio Wheelman Pro Compact 30-lap feature. However, with one to go, Napier slowed and nearly hit the wall in Turn 2, then lost a tire in the final turn, allowing Sheldon Sommers to steal the win.

Jeff Giles gained the lead on lap four of the 20-lap One Stop Auto Sales Pro Stock feature and rolled to a win. It was his second triumph of the season.

Cody Rose, who started on the pole, finished second, just ahead of points leader Josh Dunmyer.

Boswell's Doug Glessner won for the fifth time this season in the Stoystown Auto Wreckers Modified division.

He pulled in front of his brother, Dale with four laps remaining and then drove away with the win. Doug Glessner and defending champion, John Fama are in a heated points battle.

Anthony Aiello finished third.

Somerset's Jarred Barclay collected his first win of the season in the Martella's Pharmacies Late Model division.

Garry Wiltrout raced to the lead four laps into the feature and held a commanding advantage.

However, Barclay continued to chip away, after passing R.J. Dallape for second. Once Barclay had some fresh air, he tracked down Wiltrout and dashed past him for a victory.

Barclay and Dallape were tied for the points lead entering the feature. Barclay now holds a narrow advantage over the Boswell driver.

Dennis Wenner took third.

Defending champion, Ken Burkholder stretched his points lead in the Integrity Coatings Charger division with his third victory of the season.

He led throughout the 15-lap, five-car feature, besting Brian Ready, who entered the feature just three points behind Burkholder.

Nick McGowan took third.

Jeff Kuykendall was victorious in the second Ohio Wheelman Super Series 30-lap feature.

Fama, who was pulling double duty, led with 16 laps to go before a caution flew.

Kuykendall, who leads the points in the traveling series, bested Fama on the restart and once again following a caution with 10 to go.

Jennerstown Speedway hosts 6-division racing action on First Responder Night, Saturday, Aug. 22.
