Fans were reminded during the at the NFL’s first game in Australia between the San Francisco 49ers and the Los Angeles Rams that ’s wife Olivia Culpo once dated Nick Jonas years ago.
The two dated for almost two years in the 2010s before breaking up in 2015. Years later, on her reality series (via People), Culpo with Jonas a “very formative experience.”
She had moved to Los Angeles, California, with him without a “brand” or “money.” Once he broke up with her, she felt like she was “kind of left with no sense of identity.”

Despite the hardships she faced, from not being able to afford her apartment or groceries, she persevered. Now, she is happily married to the 49ers’ star running back. He was not the first football player she has dated, though, as Culpo also saw Danny Amendola and Tim Tebow (as well as Olympic swimmer Ryan Lochte).
While she has moved on, Culpo was likely reminded of her past romance during her husband’s first game of the year. The Jonas Brothers performed a medley of songs at halftime of the Rams-49ers game.

The following year, Culpo announced that she was expecting her first child with the running back. She gave birth to their daughter on July 13, 2025. On May 8, 2026, she announced that she was pregnant with her second child.
McCaffrey is riding high after the 49ers blew out the Rams in Australia in Week 1. He only had 10 carries, but he rushed for 68 yards. He also caught five passes for 20 yards.
