
SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) -- Former Masters champion Fred Couples is set to play in the 2026 Sanford International in Sioux Falls, organizers said on Thursday.
Couples won the 1992 Masters. He was 14 career victories on the PGA TOUR Champions. He played in the Sanford International in 2022, according to the news release.
The Sanford International is Sept. 7-13 Minnehaha Country Club.
Couples is a member of the World Golf Hall of Fame. Other hall members playing in the invitational are Bernhard Langer, Ernie Els and Retief Goosen.
Couples was also a Charles Schwab Cup champion in 2013.
Several of the current top 10 players in the Schwab Cup Standings are committed to play, including Boo Weekly, George McNeill, Els, and Darren Clarke, the news release said.
