The Women's Youth National Teams will face three major challenges in this second half of the year. While the Under-20 and Under-17 teams, South American champions, will compete in their respective World Cups in Poland and Morocco, the Under-15 team will travel to Paraguay for the CONMEBOL Evolution League.

Since Camilla Orlando, Rilany Silva, and Beatriz Vaz took over as head coaches, the Women's Youth National Teams have called up 206 players and achieved a 68% success rate — 47 matches and 32 wins.

Announced in June of last year, Camilla Orlando made her debut in charge of the Under-20 team in October 2025 with Brazil beating Mexico 3-0. Four months later, the first title came with the South American championship in the category, held in Paraguay.

Rilany Silva joined the Under-17 National Team in March of last year, and her first match was precisely the South American Championship, in April. The runner-up finish that year was a sign of a historic fourth-place finish at the World Cup, held between October 17 and November 8, 2025, in Morocco.

As assistant coach of the Under-17 team, Beatriz Vaz was part of that successful cycle alongside Rilany and, this year, officially took over the Under-15 team, which is heading to Paraguay seeking to retain the CONMEBOL Evolution League title in the category.

Head coach: Rilany Silva

Born in Jacareí, São Paulo, Rilany played as a center-back for Brazilian clubs Santos, Foz Cataratas, and Ferroviária; for Sweden's Tyresö, with whom she was runner-up in the UEFA Women's Champions League in 2014; as well as for teams in Spain, Iceland, and Portugal, most notably Benfica, with whom she won the Portuguese Cup. With Brazil's senior national team, she was part of a successful cycle, winning the 2014 and 2018 Women's Copa América titles.

After transitioning into coaching, she spent six years in the youth ranks of Benfica, between 2019 and 2024, and Corinthians, in 2024; and she was also part of the coaching staff of Cruzeiro's senior women's team. In her first year in charge of the Brazil Women's Under-17 National Team, she reached a historic milestone by leading Brazil to fourth place in the World Cup for the first time in the category.

She had two experiences abroad — one to study and the other to play one season for the Boston Breakers. Called up to the Brazil National Team between 2013 and 2016, she won the 2014 Women's Copa América. After her career transition, she coached Corinthians' Under-20 team for two seasons, 2024 and 2025.
