The Chargers' 2026 schedule was released back in May, but NFL fans on social media are going into a frenzy as the season approaches. Los Angeles' first two games are as easy as they could come (on paper, of course), as they will face the Cardinals in Week 1 and the Raiders in Week 2. However, after that, the Chargers will face a gauntlet from Weeks 3 to 10. NFL fans can't believe the stretch that the Chargers have in those seven weeks and six games they are set to play from late September to mid-November.

Five of those seven games are road games. The Rams will be considered the home team in that Week 8 matchup. The Chargers have tough back-to-back road trips in Weeks 3 and 4, traveling to Buffalo to take on the Bills, then up to the Pacific Northwest to face the defending Super Bowl champions, the Seahawks. After that, Los Angeles will take on the other two top teams in the AFC West, the Broncos at home and the Chiefs on the road. The Chargers have a bye in Week 7 but will face the offseason darlings, the Rams. The Chargers' offensive line will need to handle Myles Garrett and recently unretired great Aaron Donald. In Week 9, the Chargers will face the Texans, who arguably have the best defense. Los Angeles struggled mightily against Houston in 2025, and many believe they will be better this season. Finally, in Week 10, they will face Jesse Minter's Ravens. Minter was the Chargers' defensive coordinator for the past two years, but ditched Los Angeles to become the head coach of Baltimore. After a tough 2025 season for the Ravens, they are expected to be the juggernaut they have been for the better part of the 2020s. Last season, those six teams went a combined 64-38, with four of them making the playoffs. This season, they are all expected to be above .500 at worst; however, the Chargers are expected to be a juggernaut themselves with a revamped offense and exciting defense.
