A massive NFL injury update has opened the door for a potential Pittsburgh Steelers trade, as the Los Angeles Chargers scramble to find additional protection for star quarterback Justin Herbert.
On Wednesday, the Chargers lost a key member of their offensive line: Pro Bowl center Tyler Biadasz. It was revealed that Biadasz suffered damage to his ACL and additional injuries to his left knee. With the Chargers down a center indefinitely, a versatile Steelers offensive lineman could be an ideal trade target — Brock Hoffman.

Hoffman, who played with the Dallas Cowboys from 2022 to 2025, is capable of playing either guard or center. He's also seemingly primed to lose the Steelers' starting right guard job to Spencer Anderson, with a trade to the Chargers arguably being a win-win scenario for both sides.
The Chargers are no strangers to offensive line injuries, but a trade for Hoffman would give Los Angeles its best shot at keeping Herbert upright, while the Steelers pick up some important draft capital in exchange.
