The Dallas Cowboys have arguably the best wide receiver duo in the NFL, as CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens give the Cowboys one of the potent one-two punches at receiver in franchise history. Both possess unique and charismatic personalities while their on-field dominance remains next level.
CeeDee Lamb Reveals How Dangerous He and George Pickens Can Be in 2026
The 2025 season marked the first year that Lamb and Pickens played together in Dallas, and the duo immediately showed why they could become one of the most dangerous wide receiver tandems in the NFL. They put together good individual campaigns and gave the offense two reliable weapons on the outside.
Pickens finished the season with 93 receptions for 1,429 receiving yards and five touchdowns. His strong performance earned him Pro Bowl recognition as well as second-team All-Pro honors.

Meanwhile, Lamb recorded 75 catches for 1,077 yards and three touchdowns across 14 games. An ankle injury forced him to miss four games, but he still managed to surpass 1,000 receiving yards for the fifth consecutive season.
Lamb has already made it clear that he believes he and Pickens have the potential to become the greatest wide receiver duo in NFL history.
On Monday, he expanded on that belief, explaining just how much better he thinks the two can become during the 2026 season.
“We can be real, real vicious together,” Lamb said. “I know that. He knows that. And every day we strive to do it. We’ve had a lot of success together. But I know there’s much more out there for us.”

While the Cowboys finished 7-9-1 last season and missed the playoffs for the second consecutive year, Lamb and Pickens still managed to produce at a high level. Combined, the two receivers totaled 168 receptions, 2,506 receiving yards and 12 touchdowns, giving Dallas one of the league’s more productive receiving combinations.
The biggest question now is whether the Cowboys can keep that partnership together beyond the 2026 season. Pickens is set to play this season under the franchise tag, but his long-term future in Dallas remains uncertain.
Regardless of the uncertainty surrounding Pickens’ future, Lamb has made it clear that he wants his teammate to remain in Dallas. In fact, he is openly advocating for the franchise to find a way to keep the duo together for years to come.
“I’m sure we can make a way,” Lamb said, via Yahoo Sports. “I know it’s going to be a little crazy, but I know we can make a way for this one. Listen, this is my advocation: ‘Jerry, can you please figure out a way? Let’s figure it out. I don’t care what needs to happen. Let’s figure it out and it’s going to get you a couple more championships.'”
Lamb is already among the highest-paid wide receivers in the NFL after signing a four-year, $136 million contract extension with Dallas in 2024. If Pickens performs well enough in 2026 for the Cowboys to feel comfortable committing to him long term, the organization could face a significant financial challenge in trying to retain both stars.
